Cross Platform Extras Style and Appearance
CPE Style defines style elements such as backgrounds (images, video, audio, etc.), color palletes, icons, image scaling, text presentation, etc. CPE-Style s intended to work across devices and supports responsive and adaptive design.
This specification defines how to apply styles to a hierarchy of Experiences defined in accordance with CPE-Manifest.
CPE-Style is part of a family of specifications. For others, see here.
CPE includes additional specifications to provide appearance information to tailor visual aspects of the user experience to a title or group of titles. These specifications are written to support a wide range of environments. Note that these are written to allow UI implementors to choose which visual elements best fit their user interface design.
