An updated version of the MovieLabs ECP specification (ECP 1.2) is now available. The updates to the specification address three principal areas:
(1) Recently surfaced security vulnerabilities in microprocessors that can impact DRM and other content protection mechanisms.
(2) Testing of forensic watermarks.
(3) Better handling of compromised or unlicensed link protection devices.
